Cobie Langerak heads Triaxia Partners’ Leadership Practice, specializing in executive coaching, leadership development, and succession management. Prior to joining Triaxia Partners, she was the Senior Vice President of Corporate HRM Leadership and Organization Development with Philips International B.V. where her key responsibility was to develop and execute Philips’ leadership and organizational agenda worldwide, with a special focus on executives and top potentials. She was also responsible for providing functional leadership by setting global standards, policies and practices for learning and development. In her Philips Human Resources role, she was part of the Executive Team, whose ambition is to reach world-class standards by 2004. Her division had primary responsibility for the Management Agenda for a values and culture change initiative for total Philips, with targeted deployment in 2002. In addition, she contributed by way of process, redesign, and interventions in areas such as executive development, performance management, organizational development changes, job enrichment and retention, and action learning. Cobie has more than 10 years experience as a professor of psychology at various U.S. universities, and as such has testified at state and national government levels on issues of mental health legislation. She has published numerous professional journal articles on compensation, employment law, performance and teamwork, and designed numerous educational tools and materials. She formerly had her own call-in radio program and has been quoted in business publications such as Wall Street Journal Europe and the European Herald Tribune. She has successfully negotiated more than 16 labor union contracts and brought three labor strikes to settlement. She has an M.A. from Michigan State University. |
